In 2013, the ICOP Safety Guideline was issued by Agensi Pengangkutan Awam Darat (APAD) where fleet operators must install a SIRIM-approved GPS Tracker in all trucks and buses. But why is this important? According to the statistics by the Ministry of Transport Malaysia, the number of road accidents have increased for the last ten years (2010-2019). The reasons for accidents are caused by 26% dangerous cornering, 13% dangerous overtaking and 12% over speeding.
